Spinoff to Diaper Bags: Are you getting a "dad bag"?
DH told me he'd like a "dad bag" for when he's out with the baby by himself.
Is anyone else getting one? Pics would be appreciated!

I was going to get him a separate one, but the best one we saw (I think) was the skip hop bag, which is totally neutral. So, I gave up the girly one I wanted and we are getting 2 skip hops.

No. He never was out with him that long. And if so, he would leave it in the car. My DH would never carry a bag.

Ours is gender neurtral so DH will take it with him. It's just a black backpack. I highly recommend it. The Urban Backpack from One Step Ahead.

no my DH would just use a book bag with my DS and with the both of them we just put a bag in the car and he takes what he needs from there..Hes not the bag type.

Nah. Mine is a simple brown suede......nothing "girly" about it so he'll use that. He doesn't really care.

I think my husband has only been out alone with the baby maybe twice in 15 months and it was only to his mom's house when I had morning sickness with this pregnancy! Even so, he probably wouldn't carry a bag and would just leave mine in the car...I tried to buy him a camouflage one and he resisted...

He uses it constantly.

Ours is totally gender neutral (black and rectangular), so it's just fine for either of us. I wouldn't want to be responsible for maintaining 2 different bags

I put one on the registry that DH said he liked- it's an Eddie Bauer bag. If no one buys it, then I'll buy DH some sort of bag.

My mom got DH a bag like that. It's a messenger bag and has a skull with flames. DH is so proud of the bag. He was showing it to a friend and they said to him is that a real diaper bag or is a diaper bag because you are calling it a diaper bag. He laughs and opens it up and says no look it's a real honest to goodness cool dad diaper bag
