Spinoff to if you're home all day with your DC...do you change DC's clothes?
Just curious.... With this cold winter we had there were so many days I just did not leave the house. DD is such a good napper there are times I don't mind being stuck in the house - she sleeps a ton and I get a lot done.
If I know we are staying in all day - I usually leave DD in her pj's. Especially in the winter - it's chilly and the feety pj's are just so easy for her napping. I HATE socks - they never seem to stay on DD's feet (she's 8 mos old).
What do you do/put DC in?

i change her everyday even though i never change out of PJS myself
i dont leave her in her pjs bc shes a messy eater, drools a lot etc. so i dont like to leave her in the same clothes she sleeps in.

Clothes - always! Even if he isn't feeling great. I don't know but I just feel like it's okay for me to stay in PJs all day but if I let him stay in PJs then I'm lazy lol

Dd has so many articles of clothing. I dress her up like she's my little doll. We have a routine. She eats breakfast, takes a bath then picks out her outfit. Some times I even change her twice...we play dress up

Most days she's changed but there's been plenty of cold days where it's cozier to keep her in fleece PJs.

If we don't go out he stays in his jammies...the footsie pjs...I love seeing them on him so cute!
but we go out a lot, and I'll put his clothes on because I love showing off his shoes (timberlands, pumas lol)
oh yeah, he's only 3 months

I change both boys into regular clothes when I first change their diapers in the AM.
We've incorporated putting the PJs on into our bed-time routine - even if we go to someone's house for dinner, I'll pack PJs and as soon as they're on, both boys know that it's time for bed as soon as we get home.
If we kept them in PJs all day, they'd just want to sleep instead of play/interact.

Regular clothes, unless one of them is not feeling well.

Same. And that goes for my older DS too. There are some days we just lounge.

when he was pre-mobile, he stayed in PJs. But now that he's crawling all over the place, he needs traction on the feet and his clothes are filthy after a day of crawling.

I change her every morning with the first diaper change. Sometimes i will just throw on a new pair of feet pj's but with my DD's reflux and everything else, her clothes rarely ever stay clean for a whole day so she's in and out of alot in a day.

I put her in a onesie and pants.. I like for her feet to be exposed when she's playing so that she can feel around with them.

Most of the time I put clothes on her, but there have been a few times where we both have stayed in our pjs all day

Re: Spinoff to if you're home all day with your DC...do you change DC's clothes?
We are usually all up and dressed by 9 or 10 on the weekends-well, except DH he likes to stay in his PJs for a while, until I nudge him.
If the kids aren't feeling well, I t least change them into new PJs or sweats and then change then again at night for bed.
I hate being in the same clothes all day.

Re: Spinoff to if you're home all day with your DC...do you change DC's clothes?
ever since she was tiny, I change her into clothes after breakfast. for a few reasons, she has SO many clothes that I want to be able to use. also, we associate pjs with the bedtime routine. and finally, I just always like to get dressed to feel like my day has begun so I give her the same routine. I can understand though...they look so cuddly in feety pjs!

Re: Spinoff to if you're home all day with your DC...do you change DC's clothes?
When DS was little - under maybe 8 months - I would change him but from one sleep & play to another so he was basically in PJs most of the time. Once summer came and as he got older we'd put him in regular clothes.
Unless he has a major blowout or makes a big mess eating, he stays in one outfit all day. He hates dressing.
