Spinoff to iPhone.....touch keyboards....
Let me start by saying I am NOT "tech-savvy" -- I don't even text yet.....
I will be getting a promotion next month where my company reimburses me for a cell phone where I can receive emails, etc. I was thinking of getting a blackberry since it has buttons to type out stuff.....but everyone seems to be in love with the android or iphones. My question is -- how the heck do you type on a touch keyboard? I have the Nook Color and whenever I type on the keyboard, I hit the wrong button (the screen is so sensitive, it seems). Or do I just have big fingers? LOL!!! I'm so out of it......how do you all do it? Do you find it's hard to text or email with a touch keyboard?

I went from a keyboard phone to an iPhone. I got used to it pretty quickly. I think you can adjust the sensitivity of your touch on the screen. I don't have the smallest fingers and my bf has fat fingers ( ) and we haven't had problems

Re: Spinoff to iPhone.....touch keyboards....
its one reason the Iphone and Droid X have the better keyboards (because they are large phones) so the touch has larger keys.

Ditto! I will admit it's frustrating at first but once you get the hang of it, you'll love it!

You don't find yourself hitting the wrong key all the time (or the wrong key comes up even though you tapped the key you wanted?)

You can still get a Droid with a keyboard. The Samsung Facinate has one.
I use the touch keys on the Droid Incredible & will definitely be opting for a Droid w. a keyboard in 2 years when my plan is up.

Re: Spinoff to iPhone.....touch keyboards....
auto correct! i have a tough time too. without auto correct, i would have thrown the phone out the window. someone else mentioned using the phone portrait, which makes the keys bigger.
