Spinoff to my first purchases... How much did you spend on your maternity clothes?

So yesterday was my first time buying anything maternity (im 20 weeks on monday)... I held out as long as I could!!

I bought the basics... 1 pair of nice jeans, 4 tanks, a skirt, a tunic. I think I'm good for a while but I know Im still missing a few items, for example I still need:
1 pair of dressy pants
1-2 more fancy tops
1 bathing suit (im due end of August)
1 pair of shorts OR capris

I spent a good $220 yesterday... I anticipate at least another 80 dollars... so I *THINK* I'll be spending around $300 for my maternity clothes total but who knows LOL

i spent 55 @ target ( pants, & 2 long sleeves shirts)
100ish @ JCP (3 pants, 4 short sleeves shirts, 5 long sleeves shirts, 1 long sleeve zip up)

I was just thinking about this the other day and glad you brought it up. I am almost 18wks and I have spent close to $1000 on clothes already

Granted, I bought 2 Pea in the Pod Jeans and work pants so that adds up but I bought so many Motherhood cotton tops for the srping and summer. I also needed work clothes, so that stuff is a bit more expensive.

I think I am good and don't plan on getting anything else until an occassion comes up and I need a dress or something.

I am due in Sept and the summer is probably going to be brutel, so I plan on wearing just tanks and shorts for the most part.

All together I probably have now:
- 2 pairs of reg Jeans
- 1 pair of Capri Jeans
- 2 pairs of Cargo pants that come with side buttons so they can be long or short
- 4 pairs of works pants
- About 15 cotton & dress tops to wear to work
- 6 tanks & Cami's

I spent about $100 on stuff for the end of winter and about $150 on spring/summer and that is all I plan on spending.

Cool Weather:
black pants
leggings
jeans
three sweaters
one nice tunic for going out

Warm weather:
denim capris
legging capris
black capris
two shirts

one dress
one swimsuit

*I supplement these with non maternity shirts that I can still wear. I have about 5 outfits for each season that I cycle every single week. When I am home, I just wear sweats and t-shirts. I am not the type to spend a lot on clothes anyway and it kills me to spend this much on clothes i may never wear again!

I am 25 weeks.

Thankfully some thoughtful family members gave me Destination Maternity gift cards for my birthday! Overall I'd say I spent about $300 so far. I didn't get the highest end stuff, mostly the basics to get me through (leggings, 2-3 work pants, work shirts & tees, bathing suit). I'm still wearing a lot of my old pants with the bella band. I do need a dress for my shower and that I will spend $$ on b/c I want to look good. lol.

PS...Target has good maternity bathing suits.

I was wondering if i should get a bathing suit. it's prob gonna be hot in June and I will be huge. I would like to float in my pool hopefully.

I don't know how much I've spent- my mom has also purchased many things for me. But some things that I could not get away with not having are

jeans
jean capris
black dress pants
black capris
cargo pants- that can be pants or capris
basic tees- black white navy - long/short
bathing suits
and lots of cotton tops that can we worn to work and casuallly.

Oh and I got some spring dresses recently.

I spent about 600-700 so far. Everything I got is from Old Navy, Destination Maternity

I have
3 pair of jeans
pair of leggings
denim skirt
6 teeshirts in different colors
7 nice shirts
1 pair of black dress pants
2 pairs of capris
5 tank tops
zip up sweat shirt
2 pairs of sweat pants
and a few pairs of pj things

I still want to get some sundresses I'm due in late august, and I think dresses will be the easiest.

i dont keep track of such things but probably around $1000 i am a shopoholic

I spent about $500 so far.That includes 2 pairs of new (larger) shoes. I think I'm done.

I think I've spent about $400 so far---I didn't think it was that much!

I got a pair of black dress pants
black capri
khaki capri
2 jeans capris
1 casual black capri
khaki bermuda shorts
a maxi dress
3 t-shirts
5 "dressy" shirts for work
a black cardigan
a dress for a few weddings this summer
a pair of jeans

Not bad for an entire wardrobe under $500 i think!

I shouldn't need anything else, but I'm sure I'll end up spending another $100-$150.

I've spent maybe $100..but I got lucky because none of it is maternity..I'm only 4'11...so I can get away with a lot of those longer tunic style shirts that they have out (I just give the shirt a stretch test to make sure it will stretch width wise lolz) and some of the dresses...

This season there's a lot of those 'trapeze' style shirts out and they are great for us pregnant girls!!

I went to Old Navy when I got a 30% off friends and family coupon and for $50 I got
3 dresses
2 shirts

Then I went to walmart and got another 4 shirts for about $40

And when I went to the Mother Works outlet I bought one pair of leggings...I think they were $13 or $14

I definitely need to go buy some more pants/capris because my regular leggings start to bother me by the end of the work day

By the summer I think I am going to try to get away with dresses as often as I can :)
