spinoff to my own post. putting in an offer
we put in an offer on Saturday evening...the sale of the house is being overseen by the owners daughter in law, since she's really elderly....realtor said he'll speak to us this morning...why the wait??? in the past when we bought our house, we got word back right away yes,no, counteroffer etc...

we went back and forth on our house and some of the counters took a day or so.
Ours was an estate sale so there were a few kids to go over the offers with.

that sounds about right- plus yesterday was Palm Sunday- I worked - but that doesn't mean every agent did
