Spinoff to my own question about business suits
Are maternity panty hose really comfortable? I hardly ever wear hose even when I an ot PG b/c I find them itchy and restrictive (yes, I find a lot of things to be itchy). That is why I love my pants suits and I save my skirt suits for the summer when I can get away with bare legs. For someone like me, is pregnancy really the time to start wearing panty hose?
I heard that the maternity ones are pretty decent. True or False!

I'm not sure why you would want to start wearing them if you didn't before.
If you don't have to I wouldn't.

Not sure, but I don't go near pantyhose unless I absolutely have to!

I wore the maternity hose for a wedding & my shower. I hated them both times. I would def not start now if you normally do not wear hose.

Re: Spinoff to my own question about business suits
I was hoping that someone would tell me that they are so awesome that I would want to wear them even after pregnancy. This would open up a ton of choices for suits. I really should wear skirt suits and hose for my work. I did for years and then decided that if I am so distracted by being uncomfortable, I should stop!!!!!

Re: Spinoff to my own question about business suits
can you wear thigh-highs? I wish I had done this. I think my main reason for hating the hose is that they were not tall enough for me. The crotch on both (I bought a med & a large) was down at mid-thigh. It made me very uncomfortable & self-conscious.

I tried thigh highs years ago. I sometimes get a reaction to elastics and the elastic at the top of the thigh highs that I tried was so thick. Even for underwear, I am best with the old fashioned jockeys b/c the elastic bands are covered in cotton. I am so high maintenance and in such weird ways and it is always due to allergies (don't even get me started about makeup). I guess I just answered my own question about panty hose. As it is, I may have to endure the itchy suit if I do not find a different one before I outgrow my old ones.

ugh that stinks. I have yet to find fantastically comfy hose, but maybe someone who wears them regularly might have had better luck with another brand?

Re: Spinoff to my own question about business suits
I have worn them throughout the pregnancy, I buy them at Motherhood and happen to REALLY like them.
I do not get any type of control top, I just get the regular pantyhose and I have to tell you, I may never switch back!!!!
