Spinoff to my sleep post: If you did not CIO, how did you get your baby to sleep through the night?
patting her on her back, walking, shhhhing, etc does not work for her anymore.

We used our own version of CIO at around 10 months. We always gave him a few minutes (5-20) before going in to get him. We only did that on nights we knew he was feeling good, not teething, etc...
