Spinoff to my sleeping post: Does your child share your sleeping habits?

I'm not a great sleeper, and I can survive on little sleep (although not happily after a few days Chat Icon ). I toss & turn all night, wake up very often, and have pretty much always been like this, even as a teenager.

Lucky DD, she seems to have inherited my sleeping habits Chat Icon She's a light sleeper, although not too restless once she's asleep, and apparently doesn't need much sleep to get by.

Which makes ME sleep even less Chat Icon

Somehow! He loves behind VERY warm to sleep. If DS is "toasting" under the blankets during his nap, he will sleep 3+ hours up to almost 4. Chat Icon Just like me we are both cold very easily. He also will only sleep in his crib unless he crashes in his stroller while doing errands. That kid loves his bed. Just like me. I won't sleep any other places than my bed.

Thankfully, yes! We both love to sleep and we both sleep really well, and through most anything.
And we can both fall asleep in the car realyl easily.Chat Icon

DD is kind of like me in that she has some good nights and some bad nights. However, I was never like this BC (before child)-I was always a very deep sleeper, so rather than inheriting this from me she is the cause of this.

DS is just like DH. He is a very light sleeper and can only fall asleep if everything is pin quite.

He can hear a footstep, a piece of paper drop and not be able to fall asleep, or it will instanteously wake him up.

It makes naps impossible when we are not at home.

And like DH, DS is a cranky, cranky boy when he is tired.

Me - I could fall asleep with a mack truck busting through my house and a high school band marching through.
