It was this long musical instrument, it was blue and had buttons up the shaft

Ugggghhhhhhh. I just RIPPED apart the playroom and finally had to ask my 6 year old. He said, "Uh Moooom...don't you remember you threw that away because you said it was too (this is where he used AIR QUOTES) annoying."
It was a music stick. Highly annoying...but did keep me amused in my youth.
