Spinoff to preemie post - another question for you moms

I know that you use the corrected age for milestones, but what about behaviors like sleeping, etc.? DS is going to be 3 months on 2/18 but his corrected age will only be less than 1 month. He is starting to stay awake a little more during the day and sleep a bit longer (waking every 4 hours as opposed to 3) at night. What about your DC?

i just let my girls do whatever they needed to..When they woke up during the night I would feed them.. I never woke them for feeding during the night. And soon after they slept through the night. I really never focused on their corrected age..I just them grow and hit their milestones at their own pace.

DD was 7 weeks early so her corrected age is just about 2.5 months.

She was on a 4 hour feeding schedule in the NICU and our ped told us to continue you that schedule. Even wake her up to feed her.

At her 4 month well visit, he told us to let her sleep at night and to feed her on demand during the day.

Some nights she will wake every 4 hours to eat, others she will sleep a good 7 hours before getting up to eat. She is not on a schedule by any means.
