More p*ssed off than scared. Within an hour, I found threads here badmouthing a group of us in LIW. I wasn't prepared for the venom and nastiness in some of the posts and asked Kim to remove my account.
She asked me to reconsider and I found other friendlier boards... Celeb Gossip, Home board... And got used to the some of the b*tches here. 
So here I am.

I was wondering the same, but I think the reason she is asking this because many times threads would be pulled off of LIW to discuss that particular issue at hand and for this some people may not have felt welcomed

I thought maybe it would be weird for me to post here, since I live in MD and never was from NY.
I was on LIW because DH's family is from Queens and we got married on LI. So I just moved over, even though I have no connection to LI now.

I was definitely intimidated. Even though I had 38210984932758329 posts on LIW - it is a totally different vibe over here.
That's my thing. I don't have as many posts on LIW as you Tilde, but I have a lot, and here, I'm a zygote! So it's like starting all over again, and there are lotssss of new people here. So intimidated, yes, not scared.

I was on LIW for a few months. I didn't really like it so I came to LIF when I saw the teacher board. I love it here!! not scared at all...and I'm still engaged but rather be on LIF.

well, no, im asking because a new poster had a thread called "all the scared LIW ladies" and it made me wonder what it was that they were scared of. i dont remember ever being afraid of posting but apparently some people feel scared/intimidated by the site and i wanted to know why.
