Spinoff to scary movies...
Do you actually enjoy scary movies??
If so what's the best scary movie you've ever seen?
Personally, I'd rather have root canal than go see a scary movie.

I've never seen a horror movie and haev no interest in ever seeing one. Just absolutely no appeal to me whatsoever.

I LOVE horror movies. My all-time fave is Halloween (the first one).
I have become much more of a chicken-shite in my later years...but I still love 'em!!

ETA: I guess my favorites are the Freddy movies but the one that really scared me was the Exorsist.

I'm not disgusted by gory movies, but seeing someone's head cut off just isn't really scary. Good special effects, yes. Scary, no. I definitely prefer a psychological thriller movie, too. Silence of the Lambs was really good.

Ditto.... but over the past few years, I've become too chicken to watch scary movies. I used to not be able to get enough of them.

The Others I thought was great.
And when I was young I saw a movie called THe Other that scared the crappola out of me.
I remember watching The Omen by myself in my bedroom - and finally had to watch in the living room with my family, all the lights on...
I love scary, not gory but scary...

Oh, I LOVE scary and gory.
I couldn't even chose a favorite, but The First Final destination is right up there.
I hear they're making a sequel to Hostel, I can't WAIT!
