spinoff to shopping cart seat covers...
do you wash it after each use? My thinking is that it is collecting all those germs from the cart so it probably should be washed after each use - is that true?

No, not after each use. The part where DD is seating is not touching the cart. I keep the cover rolled up in my trunk and wash it every so often.

I wash it every 3 weeks or so unless a cart was really dirty or something spilled. I keep it rolled up properly so the under area does not touch her.

I don't. Germs can't survive that long and I suppose I could spray the underside with lysol, but I don't. I'm not so much of a germaphobe though..I just don't like the hard plastic shopping cart seat.
