Spinoff to spinoff re: bed making

Do you change the sheets EVERYTIME someone stays at your house? I'm sorry, but between DH's friends and BIL and SIL staying here all the time, I don't have the time or patience to change the sheets every friggin time.

Re: Spinoff to spinoff re: bed making

yes

we dont have that many visitors so i change them and if i did id still change them until the guest left.
if they stayed for a few days, of course i would not change the sheets every day for that same person.

but if you are coming to sleep at my house, you will be sleeping on fresh sheets always

part of the reason i hate sleeping at peoples homes is that i have a fear that i am sleeping on dirty sheets and the thought makes me nauseous!

I do but I HATE doing it!!!
We always have guests, normally both guest rooms are taken at the same time so I have to change 2 sets.

Re: Spinoff to spinoff re: bed making

I don't have a spare bed or bedroom, but I would change the sheets b/t guests. We have an air mattress and on the rare occasion that someone stays with us, the sheets get washed after our guests leave (usually only on night).

Same here. I would never want to be visiting and be sleeping in used sheets & blankets so I'd never make my guests do it.

sheets and blankets...Yes.
comforter...No, but that's because I dry clean them.

Plus, how dirty could the comforter get? Hopefully your guests are in-between the sheets! Chat Icon

Yes everything gets washed and the comforter goes to the cleaners! I would be very grossed out staying in someones (other than my own) "dirty sheets"

Yes. As soon as the guests leave I change the sheets so I know they are clean for the next guest.

Re: Spinoff to spinoff re: bed making

We don't get many visitors but I like to have fresh sheets on all the beds. Just in case someone needs to stay a drop of a hat! I hate dirty sheets, so I try to make it as comfy for our guests as possible!!! Chat Icon

Re: Spinoff to spinoff re: bed making

Yes. I would hate to think that the sheets I am sleeping in when I stay at someone else's house weren't washed - eww. What if someone got frisky in there?
