Spinoff to Tax refund and owning a home
We still need to get our taxes done and wanted to know what paperwork from the purchase of our home is needed for our taxes. Thanks

And, I forgot about this..
bring any reciepts for home improvements that you did. Windows/Doors - Anything that would help conserve energy. It's a write-off.

Would anyone besides my lawyer have this information?
My lawyer - has our entire folder from when we closed (back in Dec)
Well, we called him again yesterday to say we need this folder and he says he is in Florida and will not be able to give it back to us until the end of the month

The bank attorney would have it. Also, your bank has it on file as well, but I don't know how successful you would be contacting them
