What are YOU doing with your tax refund?

I'm buying a 1/2 tank of gas.

yup, i can't wait to get my $19 refund.


I owed so much to state, good thing federal balanced it out. I claim single 0! I don't get it! They already take so much out!

we're paying NY state taxes with our federal refund

we'll have some left over, but NOT MUCH

I owed nearly $1k the first year I was working. I wanted to CRY because I had no idea where it was coming from! I was 16

I haven't finished our taxes yet but so far it looks like we're getting a pretty nice sum back (which will be incredible since we had to pay $15k last year ).

We're going to be putting the money back into the house - towards some outdoor projects (patio, patio furniture, gardens, etc).

Anything left over will just go back into the house fund.

We spent it already. It went towards the last payment on our construction.

Paying off part of my private student loans. We got a decent refud this year - about $6000

We paid the balance of our last year's taxes! LOL But, at least we do not owe!!!!!!

We are putting our very measly refund in our house fund.

I don't know yet how much we are getting back. Whatever we do get back will go towards fixing up our co-op and a new car for me!

well after we paid off what we still owed from last year- (we filed late last year b/c we owed so much- and knew that we would be getting a refund this year)

we still have about $3K coming to us- but it's delayed b/c Jake messed up his 2004 return- not filing a $1K W-2 from a bouncing job- so when I finally get the money- I will save it or pay off a bill

we just got ours back - It's a nice chunk and we will pay some bills, get our lower level re-done and get new kitchen countertops!

i'll be using my $98 to buy paint for my son's bedroom, once we move into the house. oh, and some stuff from ikea (maybe)

For the first time in many years, we're actually getting a refund.

All of the money is going into our house fun. I really wanted to take vacation but we agreed to put it in the bank and let it accrue interest.

we got back a decent amount. Since we have been so good in the last year spending every last cent on the house, we are going to use part of it for a first anniversary vacation, the rest Im sure will go towards the house. Its all in savings right now.

first year ever we are getting a decent refund... with the house and the baby this year we are getting about 10k back... putting $$$ aside for our trip to cancun, maybe getting a flat screen tv for our basement and then "giving" the rest to amex lol....
