Spinoff to Theresa's post: Snowsuits
DS will be one at the end of October. Do I need to get him a snowsuit (those one piece things) in addition to a winter coat(s)????

I have gotten my DS a snow-suit for the past 3 years and in all honesty, (for me anyway) he got to use one of them twice !!!!!....The others just took up space in the closet, due to lack of "playable" snow in NY lately...If you can borrow one from someone, you might be better off- the same went for snow-boots  JMO opinion though !!!!!

being that DC won't fit in the carseat w/ one on, i could never figure out a reason to buy one.

I only used mine when we played in the snow (1 time) and when we went for walks when it was cold...I still liked it and will get one for the new baby too! They look so cute in it!

I only have one bc it was a gift when she was born (size 18 months). If it wasn't for that I would not have bought one.

I had 3 last year (all gifts), DD wore one a total of 2 times I think. I was considering getting one this year, for her to play in the snow, I think she'd like it. Plus, I have family upstate who gets lots of snow regularly.

I get them each a pair of snowpants for the few times we have enough snow to play in. My dd is a size larger than my son so I get them for her in black and then he uses them the next year.
