Spinoff to weight gain- how long were you in maternity pants?
I am still wearing mine 5 weeks later. When will I fit my jeans again? I mean the fat pants.

I think a month later... I wore a lot of sweat suits... I could not look at anymore maternity clothes!

This is bad. I'm going to Florida next week and 4 months later I'll still be wearing my preggo pants! None of my summer clothes fit and I didn't want to buy a new wardrobe that better not fit me this summer!

Longer than I'm willing to publicly admit.  Mostly b/c it was easier than investing in a transitional wardrobe.

My maternity pants were WAY too big when I got home from the hosiptal. I wore stretch and sweat pants until i bought jeans that fit

I don't think I wore maternity pants after coming home from the hospital - maybe I did, for a week? It was summer, so I wore lots of flowy skirts.

I had to go out and buy new jeans around a week after Noah was born...my old jeans were falling off of me. Sadly, I seem to have gained all of that weight back.

I have been in sweatpants ever since DD was born. I too am waiting to get back in regular clothes again, especially my jeans.

Approx. 6 weeks. I had to go out and buy "transition" pants. The maternity pants were falling down. I was sorta happy that they are only one size bigger than my usual size. I bought 2 pairs and they were on sale since it's already the end of the season for winter clothes in the stores. It made me feel so much better to have pants that actually fit!! I wasn't even that upset that they are bigger than my old size. I was in a "Transitions to Motherhood" group at the hospital where DD was born and one day the group leader was saying how important it is to get those transition clothes. She was right - it did wonders to my mood. I don't dread getting dressed anymore!

I am wearing pre-preggo jeans today but they are a little snug.

Many of my regular jeans fit after a week or so - so I was lucky. Before then I most wore my regular sweats. I only wore my maternity jeans a few times after birth.
