Great debate in my household. I like to call them Farts- plain and simple. But I will modify to toots around Dh family.
I refuse to call them by DH family name which is Fluffies.

So funny. I was at my parents' house for a week and my mom HATES the word "fart".
After a couple of days saying "passing wind" she finally gave in.
But she would WHISPER it everytime she said it.

We call it Fart.
But growing up, we were not allowed to say Fart at my gramma's house. So we'd call it Toot or Fluff. Those words make me giggle!!

We call it "making stinkies."
Growing up, we called it "making cocounuts." Apparently, when I was about 2, I farted in the tub. The sound reminded me of a skit on Sesame Street, where they made a similar sound, and I said, "that's the sound of coconuts," which was what they said on t.v. Can you imagine us walking around: "Who made a coconut?" Yup, that was us!
