Spinoff to What is your job topic-Teachers

I noticed a lot of you are teachers or have other jobs in the schools. Do you work on LI? I was thinking of one point of being a school counselor or a teacher, but I always heard how difficult it is to get a job in a LI school. Did you guys find this to be true? Thanks in advance guys!

It depends on what field you go into. From my experience and observations, it is very difficult to get a general elementary ed position. I teach ESL and it was a little easier which is why I went into it.
