Spinoff: What are you getting your DAD for Christmas?
I only have my dad left and I am stumped! Seriously I have no clue what to get him. He is always so hard to shop for, he has everything. So looking for some ideas.

Awesome! i just got that for my dad for his bday 2 weeks ago, and he LOVED it... best gift he ever got (he hates when we buy him things too- even at 26 yrs old, he still wants me to 'make' him a birthday card  )
this year, we all did a Secret Santa, and DH go my dad...so were getting this DVD set of some show he used to love back in the day, though, he mentioned that he wouldn't mind getting some more steaks

I got him an ipod shuffle.
Same here! He travels a lot for work so I know he'll use it, but gets mad if we spend a lot on him so I thought this was a good compromise. It's so cool looking!

My dad won't eat steak (or any red meat), but that gives me an idea....he loves those tuna burgers from Legal Seafood.

pants and a matching shirt...how boring, but he doesn't need anything and he doesn't ever really appreciate anything so I don't put much effort into his present.

Since my mom has passed away I try to get my dad stuff he needs for hte house that he doesnt even know.
For his birthday I got him misc kitchen stuff and he was actually excited.
For christmas I got him PJs, a Calendar and I am gettign him a new cordless phone!

I got him golf socks (they are expensive and he's too cheap to buy them - $30 for 3 pairs) and this USB beverage cooler/heater.
