Spinoff: When did you retire the swing and bouncer?
I was looking at DS the other day when we had placed him in his bouncer for a minute and he is too long for it. He still fits nicely in his swing though.
When did you retire the swing and bouncer and officially put it away? Did you wait until DC was wriggling out of it (DS doesn't do that) or did you just decide to pack them up one day and put them away?

At 6 months we still use the bouncy every day. She takes a quick nap in it when we get home. The swing she hasn't been in, in a few weeks. I just haven't had the time to put it away in the attic yet.

DS is 4.5 months. I don't think he'll make the weight limit...I think he will outgrow it by length first. I am thinking of putting the bouncer away

Re: Spinoff: When did you retire the swing and bouncer?
We retired the swing when DS was 7 months (tried to climb out of it)...
We are about to retire the bouncy seat now at 10 months, we just use it for bottles right now but, he's starting to use it as a step stool as well.

Re: Spinoff: When did you retire the swing and bouncer?
I think about 5m for the swing, he never loved it. And 6m for the bouncer. He definitely hit the weight capacity for that. There was no more bounce in it anymore, he sunk to the bottom! He never loved that either, I only used it after taking him out of the bathtub and laying him on there on a towel.

Re: Spinoff: When did you retire the swing and bouncer?
i haven't retired anything yet, and she's 7mos. however, she hasn't sat in her bouncy in at least a month. it was the same for the swing until about 2weeks ago when she started waking at night.
i don't know what the height limit is on the swing but she is far from the weight limit so i plan on keeping it out, just in case!
