oh no its almost time to retire the swing!
abby was never really a fan of her swing we tried 1 for the first few months of her life she absolutely hated it and would scream and cry everytime she was in it. then we went to to my brothers and she was in my nieces swing and loved it so i went out right away and bought it.. well then that only lasted a few weeks and went right back to screaming in it. (this was when she was about 4 months old) so we put the swing away at about 4.5 months old.. well about 2 weeks ago. she seems to just want to sit and relax on her own. so i said hey why not try the swing again (since the Infant to toddler rocker she literally climbs out of) the swing has a harnase over her shoulders which is fantastic. so shes been sitting in her swing daily for the past 2 weeks. but i saw in the book today that its only good up to 25lbs. shes already 20lbs. so im scared what will happen when we hit the limit she just loves to sit and swing and hang out... any one have any ideas on what they plan on doing if their Dc loves their swing?

My DD is slowly getting too big for it too...it will be sad to put it away, but we've slowly stopped using it as much. She probably won't miss it at all because we now really rarely use it. Maybe just gradually use it less?
