Spinoff-winter jackets for older infants
My kids are 10 months and will probably be OK in a zip up sweatshirt with a long sleeve underneath for another month or so(we live in NC) but they will need a winter jacket. I need something on the thin side since they will need to be safe in the carseat. Does anyone have any suggestions?

i am going to have DS in fleece zip-ups and sweatshirts in the car. i'll add a blanket when it gets cold. i don't like putting him in a jacket for the car. but for the snow, i'll get him one. i actually have a great one from Children's Place from last year that was huge on him, i hope it fits again this year.

I plan to use this LandsEnd Fleece Bunting with a blanket for when were are just going from the car to inside and inside to the car.
We have a regular winter coat to use for when we will actually be outside for a period of time.

My DS had one of these from The Childrens Place and it was uper warm, yet light weight...Perfect for in/out of the car , and since you guys don't really ever see snow, maybe it would work ...And they are on sale for $13.99
