Spinoff...can we do a February 2008 roll call..

I would love to see all the babies around DS age and what they are up to...anyone?

DS was born on Feb 10. I can't believe he is 3 months already. He is doing great. He is a happy little baby smiling all the time and laughing. He favorite thing now is his exersaucer since he loves to stand all the time. He starts daycare next week.

I'll respond, even though technically DS is a January baby, I was supposed to be a leap day mommy. DS is almost 14lb (we go to the doctor tomorrow!) and is finally getting past his colicky ways He smiles and giggles and is getting so strong! He loves to sit in my lap and look around, and is getting better at picking his head up during tummy time! No rolling yet! He isn't sleeping thru the night yet, but he is a good napper!

DD was born on JAN 30th...BUT she was due FEB 6th.

She is sleeping threw the night now for about 8 wks now and her colicy times are only for about an hour a day. She hates tummy time but I do it anyway. I love when she wakes up in the morning and she smiles at me.....She just started sleeping in her crib almost a week ago....my fault I couldnt let go..I still want her in the bassinet but know its time for the crib.

DS was born on Feb 13th. He's 13 lbs as of yesterday and 24 inches long!!

He's another tummy time hater, but we manage a few minutes at least two times a day. He's laughing up a storm and eats around 6 oz every 3-4 hours.

He's also been sleeping in his crib for two weeks now and sleeping thru the night for almost 5 weeks. I have separation anxiety and didn't want him to sleep in his room without me. Dumb!!!!!

Keep this thread going. I love to hear about what the February babies are up to.

DS was born 2/8 even though he was due 2/23. He is smiling and laughing. He has always been a great sleeper and has been sleeping from 10 - 5. We put him in the crib at 3 weeks b/c my sister needed the bassinet for her DD. When we put him down for bed, he is awake for 1/2 hour, but doesn't make a sound - just looks around the room and then falls asleep - it is really cute. Makes mom and dad happy! He also hates tummy time, but we are trying!

I'm another "fake" February mom....due date was Feb 3rd, DS was born Jan 30th!

DS is about 14lbs now and doing great! He's been sleeping in his crib since 6wks (he hated that bassinett!) and sleeping thru the night since 9weeks.

DS is awake most of the day now... smiling, laughing, and shaking the heck out of his rattle! He's become more interactive this past week or so...staring at smaller objects, grabbing things and "tasting" them, and actually showing preference for certain toys!

Soon we'll be on to solid foods.....OMG, how did he get this big so fast???

DD is doing amazingly! Born on Feb 11th...

She is up to 7oz per feeding with an 8oz bottle for her AM bottle since she is sleeping between 11 or 12 hours per night!

She HAS to weigh about 13 or 14lbs by now - she has grown so big so fast, and last week I did a quickie length check on her and she was 24 inches long.

She smiles alllllllllllllllll the time, and I feel like now more than ever since I'm less stressed, and happier. She laughed 2x on 5.15, and then another time yesterday. She is a total tummy sleeper, so she knows that when she lays down on her tummy, it's b/c she has to go to sleep. But when she wakes, it's all smiles from her....

Gosh.... where has the time gone?

Love hearing about all the babies...

Luke was born 2/23 and unlike the rest of you he was late...due 2/16. He is a great sleeper and eater from the beginning. He eats 6 oz every 3 hours, sometimes hell stretch to 4 hours, and at night he sleep from 9pm -7am consistently. He is cooing all the time and smiling, and just recently I started getting a giggle or two. He doesnt mind his tummy time and his head control is great right now. Im going to try the jumperoo pretty soon, just to see what happens. The only issue we have been working on lately is naps. He will take a nap about 1 1/2 hours after his bottle, but only for about 1/2 hour. I cant figure out why he keeps waking up so quickly. I might try napping him on his tummy. See what happens.

He weighed 13lbs and was 24 inches 3 weeks ago, we go for his 3 month check up next week. Im expecting about 15lbs....hes like a string bean.

Hi fellow February moms! I love this thread - to see what other February babies are up to. Shana was due on 2/23 and ended up being a leap year baby!

Right now she's about 12 lbs. and is close to 25 inches long (she's very long!). I can't believe that she is almost 3 months already. She is so adorable. She is a big smiler and giggles alot. She coos and makes baby talk too. Her head control is pretty good, but she hates tummy time. I don't think she'll be picking up her head any time soon.

I'm scared to even write this in fear of jinxing myself, but she has slept through the night for the past 3 nights. She eats about 4 - 4 1/2 oz. every 2-3 hours.

Nina was born February 22. She now weighs just about 13lbs. She is in the 75th percentile in both weight and height. She is an amazing sleeper. She sleeps from 9:00-9:00 Everynight and takes 2 big naps everyday. She nurses every 2 hours during the day. She is talking, cooing, and smiling all day and has become SO observant. She wants to see everything. She is doing great with holding her neck up and is now using her bumbo, which she loves. She goes back to the ped. on May 30th for the second round of her shots, since we are doing an alternate schedule. I cant wait to see how much she weighs now.
