spinoff....cash and CCs in mexico
do places, like the excursions take credit cards (mastercard) or should we plan to take cash?

we did a few excursions, but we paid for them before we left the resort...b/c they had tour representitives on site...just be careful some credit cards charge an exchange rate for the conversion.

We charged dinners and things (great exchange rate with no extra charges) but paid cash for excursions and when shopping in the little markets. Did a lot of haggling and came back with great silver jewelry real cheap.
