Spinoff...Nike Plus..

Does it do intervals for you? How does it work? I am thinking about it, but am not clear on exactly what it does, despite having read the apple website-am I slow?

dh surprised me and both this for me when we were on vacation in August and I havent even used it yet...I have the sneakers but I just havent set it up
