Sports Party ??-Please don't move...
This question is for anyone, not just sports fans. We are planning a football party in November (my dh and I have rival teams lol). (it IS basically to get our friends and family together so it is more than just the football game but that is the main idea).
I am a Giants fan and Giants fans are just about done this year with their 0-5 record.
Would you still go to a party even though your team is doing so bad? Should I call it something other than just come for the football game lol.

I'd definitely still go if i was a fan of the team regardless of how they're doing.
I hate football but if I was invited to a hockey party and the rangers were doing terribly, I'd still go. It's not just about the sport, it's about spending time with friends and eating good (hopefully lol) food.

I would be there with my Giants shirt on. Just because my team sucks his year doesn't make me any less of a Giants fan.

And anyone who wouldn't be a fan of their team just because they're doing badly isn't much of a fan in my book. I'm a Mets fan. I was born this way. We don't take too kindly to fair weather fans! We remember every single heart break, and boy have there been many of them.

I'd definitely still go...and wear lots of Giants gear! A fan is a fan whether the team is good or bad. I'm a Mets fan so I'm used to disappointment! LOL

Agreed! Jets/Mets/Isles fan here - must just be a glutton for disappointment!
