UPDATED AT BOTTOM Vincent's 1st Birthday Party Review (with props to our very own Val & Don of course!)
Yesterday was Vincent's 1st Birthday Party! We had over 100 people so we decided to have it at an American Legion Hall where the kids would be free to run around like lunatics without a care in the world!
We did a Sesame Street Themed Birthday Party since it's one of the only shows Vincent really watches.
I ordered his invites from Personalizedpartyinvites.com
For Balloons, each table had a different 24" mylar character surrounded by latex. We also had 2 airwalker balloons that floated around the room.
The mylar balloons came from balloonmaniacs.com and birthdaydirect.com and we had a local florist put them together with the latex bunches.
Decor & favors came from Joenick/Val. She did an exceptional job (as always). Everyone went nuts for the hand-drawn characters and the Birthday sign that read "This Birthday was brought to you by the letter 'v' and the number '1' " The kids LOVED LOVED LOVED the favors. Everyone couldn't wait to get home and fill their cases with goodies.
The Street Scene Setter was from Party City and provided a great backdrop for the kids to play on the stage
Twinkletown provided the Entertainment for the kids - we had face painting, balloon art, parachute fun and some silly games and tricks. The kids LOVED them and they were very patient with 31 kids!
Stop and Shop supplied the cake. We got devils food with bavarian creme and butter cream frosting. It was delicious and everyone raved about it and most importantly Vincent seemed to like it too!
We had Bon Soir caterers bring the food in. We did a typical menu - cold cuts, eggplant parm, penne vodka, sausage and peppers, chicken, rolls, etc. They are phenominal if you ever need anything. www.bonsoircaterers.com

Thanks girls. I forgot to add one of the most important things!
Our one and only DON supplied me with endless Sesame Street songs mpg's for our ipod and we were able to take a lot of our older guests down memory lane with such classics as "C is for Cookie" , "Doin the Pigeon" and "I Love trash" to name just a few.
He spent countless nights emailing me the songs and I really appreciate all the time he took away from his beautiful girls to do that.

Great pictures... Vincent is so handsome
It looks like it was a fantastic party!
The cake looks SO yummy and all the Sesame Street details are just perfect
Oh and Lisa you look AMAZING.. I love your hair dark!

LOLOL, no no no. Just a few bites. I wanted it big enough for him to dig his hands in. But of course he just scratched the icing and showed us his hands.
