Spotting - TMI

OK ladies need some advice -- DH and I BDd this morning for the first time since we did the IVF. But he was gentle since the RE told us to be cautious, and to stop if I started to bleed. So of course afterwards I have been spotting - not much, just when I wipe. Do you think this is cause for concern??? I have my u/s on Tuesday and figure I will just ask then...

As long as it's just a little and it's not red, I wuldn't be too concerned- though I would definitley mention it on Tuesday.

Re: Spotting - TMI

Spotting after sex is very common. Your cervix is filled with blood now and will cause some spotting if irritated (I'm pretty sure that's the explanation).

Re: Spotting - TMI

If it's just a little it's probably from the increased blood flow in your reproductive tract.

My DH and I were very scared BDing with the second PG as well (petrified actually). DH is always so quick to react to any little thing so it can be strange, but try not to let fears get to you both...

I hope you have an easy and unvenetlful pregnancy, you and your DH deserve it. Chat Icon

Hey girlie,

Has everything returned to normal?

And, by the way, I don't think it's called baby dancing anymore once the baby is in there!! Chat Icon
