spotting in early pregnancy -BTDT Moms

ladies -
i just found out i am prego with #2 and am still very early- I haven;t even gotten to dr yet- i assume i am about 5 weeks.

this morning around 5 am i had a little spotting going on, i put on a pad and nothing is on it - so it seems to have been a one time thing so far.

hoping to go to dr today but of couse i am flipping out. anyone have similar experience and still end up with a successful pregnancy?

i had brown/pink spotting at 5 weeks for a day and then at 6 weeks for 2 days.

the first time it happened i went to the RE and the source of blood couldnt be found. i was told pelvic rest and take it easy.
the second time it happened i went back to the re and they the cause of the bleeding - subchronic hematoma - same thing pelvic rest.

im almost 12 weeks - go in for antoher sono today and hopefully the clot got smaller.
the drs werent too concerned by it by my last sono at 8weeks

Bops had bleeding with her dd thruout her whole pregnancy (her reply back to my post about spotting helped me out trememdously!!) and her dd is beautiful!

so it doesnt neccessiarly mean anything bad.

thanks for the reassurance. i had NONE with my first pregnancy so I am in unchartered territory here.

same here with ds i never had bleeding/spotting so when i started this time around i was convinced i was miscarrying. i was soo surprised at 6 weeks they saw a hb

It is very normal to have ealry spotitng. As long as it is not heavy or continous with cramping...you are fine!
