Spotting question - may be TMI
I have yet to have my first dr appointment so of course I'm worrying about every little thing. I had some spotting that occurred after DH and I DTD. No cramping or anything like that. Is this normal?

Personally it's never happened to me but I know it's definitely possible to spot and/or cramp after DTD.

Your cervix is sensitive now, it's very common to have spotting after DTD. I wouldn't worry.

Re: Spotting question - may be TMI
I've heard that's normal. One can also spot after an internal at the OB's office. After having several miscarriages, I had decided to put myself on pelvic rest for the first trimester both with DD and this one. My OB also decided against doing a pap. I just know that if I ever spotted, with the experiences I've had in the past, it would cause a LOT of stress!
So yes, definitely happens. If it was only light spotting and did not have any pain with it, then I'd say it's fine. I would definitely worry though if there's severe cramping or it becomes more than just spotting (red, clots, or enough to require a pad). In that case, call OB asap.
