Red Spotting Question (and TMI warning)
I'm trying not to freak out...
I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow. This morning, after using the bathroom, I noticed a tiny bit of red blood when I wiped (and it's defiitely not from my butt). My DH and I did DTD yesterday, but I didn't have any strange discharge yesterday at all, only this morning. No cramps, and so far, no more red blood.
Do I call my doctor's service number and get someone to call me back? Or, is this truly no big deal and I just need to relax?
Thank you, thank you!

It could be from DTD - there's a lot more bloodflow to that area and everything is more sensitive.
Wait it out for the day and if you notice any more spotting, I would give the doc a call.

it could totally be from sex. Even before i was pregnant sometimes i would get that after sex b/c i have a sensitive cervix ( or so the dr. tells me..LOL...even after paps and exams sometimes i bleed or spot a little.)
Just keep an eye on it today and if it gets worse i would call the dr. but it seems like if it stopped already you're probably fine.

Thank you! I will do that. (And I'll try to stop worrying so much, although it's easier said than done!)
Congrats to you on the nursery progress! That is so exciting! We have to switch a few rooms around too and I'm so eager to get started.

Thank you, thank you for your prompt reply! That makes 2 of you who agree that I need to chill and wait it out a day. I've been nearly making myself sick with worry. Fingers crossed that the red blood does not make anymore appearances!

Re: Red Spotting Question (and TMI warning)
This happened to me last weekend. I was 19weeks and DTD....and then red blood...enough to turn a full babywipe reddish pink. I was freaking out for a bit, but knew in my heart that it was from the cervical agitation and nothing more. I told myself that if it was still happening in 24 hours that I'd call the midwife. I never had to call...and I'm not having sex again!!!!! Kidding (I think). Try to go about your day wiithout worrying or even thinking about it. If you need to make a call to the doctor, you will know. So far, it sounds like some good ol' fashioned lovin is responsible. Good Luck.
