SPR... Watching the show Say Yes to that Dress

I had it on in the background while I was playing with Mason in the playroom (needed a break fromm Yo Gaba Gaba) and I turned around to Mason and said... "Thank you soooo much for being a boy!" Chat Icon I know it's a great experience going wedding dress shopping with your daughter and I got my dress at Kleinfeld's too, but I don't have to pay $5000 or higher for a wedding dress Chat Icon

Love the show too! I actually just filmed an episode with my sister in January! She ended up saying Yes to the dress Chat Icon , but we are not sure when he episode will air, since they come back and film her for fittings! Randy is a riot!

BTW, my sister told them her budget was no more than $5K and they ended up finding a ton for her to try on in her budget and she ended up coming in about $3K. Chat Icon

That's so awesome! You'll have to let us know when the show will air.
LOVE Kleinfeld's. I had the best experience when we were there. THis was in 06 when we bought the dress so I don't think the show was even around. Love seeing my salesgirl Debbie

Like I said... so glad Mason is a boy or I'll be spending that kind of money on a dress. A tux sounds so much better Chat Icon

My deal is she can get whatever dress she wants but DH and I wil only be contributing what we can afford at the time.

We paid for our own wedding and parents/il's helped with individual items like invites, favors etc and I hope that we will raise her so that she does not think she is entitled to whatever she wants regardless of $$$$

I sooo looking forward to my DD getting married (some day in the distant future) and all that goes with it! I'm excited for DS too, but it's not quite the same.

Chat Icon i love that show.....

but my dress was $500 from davids bridal. it had beading in the top, it had embroidery in the tulle in the skirt. it wasnt a brand name but i survived....
if i have a girl i'll give her some money, but if she wants designer she's going to have to input some herself.

do they actually give them any credit towards the dress for being on the show?

My cousin is Nicole from the show and she said brides dont get a credit for being on the show. A lot of brides are filmed, not all of them make it past the cutting room though.

Also, I thank DS all the time for being a boy. But I told Nicole she has to stay working there on the off chance the next kid is a girl.Chat Icon
