Re: Babycote2006- and all interested in a spring playdate...
JUST A THOUGHT... EVeryone listed above on/ on waitlist... We could do 1 of two things... We could do a gym like planned and it would probably be like 12 bucks with pizza included etc... OR we could do the holtsville ecology site... For those that dont know what that is, its a park with animals, lions, bears, birds, tigers (shutup Aeriell ) and then a playground/picnic area. We could do a picnic in the park type thing. Whatever you all think...

I like this idea very much but then you have the issue of a rain date type of thing...it might be best to do an indoor party.

I like the park idea. The weather is potentially an issue, but you could also open it up to a lot more people.

How old are the children going? DS is only 7 weeks but I'd love to come (waiting list, I see) but don't want to either drag other kids down or have it be totally over his head.
Also, what day of the week?

Those tours are so I am going to find a big place where we can fit like 30 people since thats where the list looks like its heading. Maybe we should save outdoors for summertime?
I am also thinking to do a supervised gymboree with a teacher. i think it was 100 dollars more but at least maybe they can do songs, dances etc...or do you think free play is better?
The differenc (100) would just be less food but who needed all that food.

Re: UPDATE TOP 3RD PAGE ...Babycote2006- and all interested in a spring playdate...
OK...How about the Holtsville Ecology site since everyone likes that idea with a date of April 20th and a raindate of May 3rd. (We dont want to interefere with AERILLES B-DAYS ) I guess if this works we can submit a final list and then the morning of I will go down with hopefully Maris and whoever else wants to go (its behind us) and claim the gazebo area. We can talk about food, drinks etc.... Post if these dates work for ya and I will put you on the list up top on pg 1. Obviously I wont do a waitlist but just so everyone knows who is going and whats being brought
*ONE thing...I know DH said DDI is having a function there...I want to make sure neither is on these dates. Last yr a few of us went and parked in the boonies!
