Sprinkle etiquette - nervous!!!

I am totally blown away that a relatively new friend - one of the other mom's at my daughter's school - is throwing me a Sprinkle tomorrow; apparently about 20 other moms (pretty much the entire first grade!) are coming.

(This means so much because my own family really is apathetic towards this baby - just too many kids in my family, I suppose, but it still hurts a lot.)

Anyway, I am sooo nervous, especially because they are all relatively new friends. When should I arrive? How do I greet guests? I am totally moved by the fact that all these people are getting together in honor of my baby, and I think I just do not know how to react!

TIA for any input! I know it sounds silly to ask about this, but I really am not sure how to act.

I think I would greet everyone and at one point get up & thank everyone for coming & tell them how much it means to you (you don't have to go into the family thing).

I would ask the person hosting what time does she want you there.
