How much should I expect to pay to have two sprinkler heads repaired, and does anyone have a company they rec? I am in Lynbrook.

Thanks!

Re: Sprinkler Repair

It's actually rather easy to fix yourself and would only cost a few dollars (as opposed to a few hundred) to purchase the heads. My husband did this for two of our heads and also repaird quite a few lines (that was not as easy but it saved us over $1000).

Thanks for the advice, where did he purchase the heads?

Re: Sprinkler Repair

you can get supplies at HD (I'm sure Lowes too)

We just had 2 repaired professionally and they were $95 each!!! (labor and parts)

I wish we had done them ourselves - but one was being pushed up by a root, so I'm not sure we would have done it well.

He went to a sprinkler/pool place in Commack - on 347 just east of that intersection before Ulta/Target. It's right near some fence place. Sorry, neither of us can remember the name. But any sprinkler/pool place would have the supplies and the expertise to help talk you through what needs to be done.

Re: Sprinkler Repair

I agree you can repair sprinkler heads yourself. Most just screw out. Home Depot and Ace Hardware sell replacement parts. Ace carries Hunter parts. HD does not. I have Hunter and replaced two heads this summer, one just two weeks ago. It is a little tricky when it comes to adjusting the arc and direction but doable.
