St. Catherine Siena Hospital
If you have taken classes from St. Catherines ie: Lamaze, breastfeeding...can you let me know who was good? or what classes you recommend and if you took the tour at the hospital?

Re: St. Catherine Siena Hospital
Yes, I did a class and a tour given by Kristen one of the nurses that work there. She was EXCELLENT and the class/tour was very much worth the time. We learned a lot about what goes on to make the experience less scary/intimidating. Call L&D and ask for her - I hope she still does the classes

Re: St. Catherine Siena Hospital
Do you remember how much the class is? Can you just do the tour alone?

Re: St. Catherine Siena Hospital
When I called a lady stated that the tour is done at 7:30pm daily depending on how busy they are.... she said to call around 6:30pm to find out if they will be doing one and recommended weekends. She didn't mention how much it was. I am not sure if taking the classes gives you a free tour or not ??

Re: St. Catherine Siena Hospital
I took the class with Kristen too in 06. During the lamaze class, they will do a tour of the hospital. If you are not taking lamaze then you can just do the tour by itself (or if you are taking a different lamaze class than the one given at the hospital).
I loved being at St. Catherines and can't wait to be back in January!

Re: St. Catherine Siena Hospital
I took Lamaze there, as well as Infant CPR. Didnt do my BF class there but Jennifer is their LC and she was very helpful when I gave birth
ETA: I loved my stay there, everyone was helpful, friendly, etc. Not one complaint even the cleaning crew was nice. I gave birth Dec 2007

Re: St. Catherine Siena Hospital
I didn't take the BF class, but I was supposed to. The BF class is $30. The LC through St. Catherine's is Jennifer G. and she is absolutely sweet (she came in the day I delivered to help me BF)
