St. Maartin
Has anyone been there recently? We are going on the Disney cruise next month, and St. Maartin is a stop. I'm looking at Orient/Bikini Beach, looks nice online, but looking to see if there is another beach people recommend?

We are going to Mullet Beach. We did a lot of research and this seems to fit the bill of what we are looking for.

Thanks! It looks nice, BUT, no public bathroom, which is a dealbreaker for me!

I would just visit Great Bay beach, it’s right where the cruise ships dock. Also there is a small boardwalk with restaurants. When we stopped for a cruise we rented a car and toured the entire island, then parked and hung at great bay for the rest of the afternoon before we went back to the ship and returned the rental.

I have read not so great reviews about that beach. Lots of trash, pollution and very very pushy vendors. I do want to visit the shops over there though. I think we are just going to take a cab to Bikini Beach though!

Re: St. Maartin
We had no issues with trash, vendors etc... we parked our rental went on the beach and rented 2 chairs and an umbrella. It was clean, pretty empty on the stretch where we were and no one ever bothered us. It was about a 5 minute walk to the start of the boardwalk from where we were.
Hopefully bikini beach is great!
ETA we much preferred the Dutch side, people were much friendlier
