Nope never heated it up, which is great when you are out & about and don't have anywhere to heat things up. DS always ate & drank everything at room tempature.

No I just feed it to DS out of the fridge.

ditto.

We almost always do full jars but if ever we were using an open one out of the fridge, i'd just take it out and take the lid off, then get DS prepared to eat so it had a minute or two to get to room temp.

Any order is fine. I did least sweet to sweetest but with the way DS eats, I'm pretty sure it wouldnt' have made a difference! I think we did green peas, then carrots, then sweet potatoes, each 3-4 days. Then we did pears, then apples and last bananas.

Enjoy it!! This was the "milestone" I was most excited for and my little garbage pail didn't disappoint Chat Icon

Re: Stage 1 food...

For DD it didn't matter what we tried and in what order. She liked everything. We did the fruits first and then veggies and she gobbled down everything. For the veggies we did peas, green beans, squash, sweet potatoes and carrots.
