stage 1 food: how do you know if DC is allergic?
I don't THINK DD is allergic, but we started squash last night and my aunt said she threw up twice today. It wasn't a lot, but do you think this could mean she's allergic? What are the signs?

my dd got a rash all over her face and spots on her body from Oatmeal cereal, Doc told me it was an allergy to oatmeal.
I would call your peds and tell them about her vomitting and see what they say.

My DD is allergic to squash and she never got a rash. She throws up after everytime she eats it. It stinks because she liked it so much.

hmm....well we gave it to her last night and she didn't throw up but my aunt fed her the squash today around 10:30 and said she threw up almost an hour later. No rash though. She also has had a cough for just over a week and a couple times when she coughed really hard she threw up a little bit, so maybe it's just from that?

I would say the throwing up is more likely to be from the coughing

I would check in with your doctor, it could be, or she may just have a bug of some kind.
Maybe lay off the squash for a week or two and go back to it. If you get the same reaction, she is probably allergic to squash.

Food allergies usually show up as a rash on their bellies.

DS is allergic to bananas. The way we found out was that he had a red rash all over and his little hands swelled up so much that they caused him to have lines on his fingernails from the swelling.
