STAR program question...
Where would I go about finding out if our STAR program went into effect with our new house? Is there a number I can call?

When you purchase a new house, you have to apply for the STAR program. I applied for STAR in December of 2006 and was told that it would take effect in October 2007.

I live in Brookhaven and I went to the assessors office in the building right off of bald hill.
