starbucks blonde?
how is it? is it a medium bodied coffee? i hate dark roasts that are too strong...i am curious to try this!

It's very good - mild and smooth. Doesn't have that sharp burnt taste that Starbucks is known to have. I love it!

My DH is a starbucks diva and he said the Blonde was very light for him. He loves strong coffee so you may like it.

Dh and I don't prefer Starbucks b/c of the strong flavor. But DH actually likes this Blonde one...I have not had it yet.

I don't like it, I find it strong and burnt, lol. May just be the starbucks I go to, because I have heard good things about it otherwise.

I tried it and while I thought it was tasty, it's not the taste I go to Starbucks for (I prefer dark roasts)
People I know who generally hate Starbucks, love the blonde!

I am one who generally does not like SB coffee and I tried the blonde recently and thought it was a lot more tolerable and not burnt tasting.
It still had that SB taste to it though, just not as strong.

Its delicious! I'm more of a fan of the bold but the blonde is evry good. Its much lighter and mild.

I can tolerate strong coffee. The Blonde, however, made me SO incredibly jittery, and my heart was RACING all day long. I had a cup at about 7:30 in the morning, and up until I went to bed at 10 I felt so jittery, as if I were on speed or something. Very bizarre feeling, and I won't drink it again because of this.

Me too! To me it tasted like regular SB coffee, which i don't like.

Blonde is not roasted very long and therefore has much more caffeine content although a mellower flavor.

This is so interesting!
I dislike reg SB coffee but love the blonde roast. I only drink talls and never had the jittery problem and the coffee I make at home is 1/2 decaf.

Blech, really don't like it. Won't be buying it again. But I like the regular Starbucks taste.
I had no idea it was stronger--I drank 3 cups last Sunday, no effect at all! I must be addicted.

There's 2 different blondes - Verona and Willow. We bought the Verona beans to brew at home and we love it! DH tried the Willow at Starbucks and didn't like it as much.

Wow! So interesting. It really was the worst feeling ever. My heart was racing out of control, and I felt like I needed to do everything at 100 mph...I almost went for a run at lunch time just to get my energy out! Haha
