Starting back on the house hunt in Orange County...
Anyone know the Orange County area? We started looking a few months ago and as of right now we're looking in the following school districts - Washingtonville, Monroe-Woodbury & Cornwall. (Good schools and close to transportation for commuting to NYC)
Tomorrow we're going with our realtor to get the ball rolling again. Wish us luck! And any thoughts or suggestions about the areas are greatly appreciated.

Re: Starting back on the house hunt in Orange County...
We moved from Long Island to Monroe in January (we closed on our house in Oct of 2005, but we painted and renovated it before we moved. We love it up here. My Dh commutes to midtown from the harriman station. I work from home mostly and see clients a few times a week.
Feel free to FM me if you want any info. I work for a title company so if you need any closing questions answered, need a great RE lawyer, or have any other questions just let me know.
Good Luck house hunting!

Thanks! We went yesterday and saw lots of nice stuff. We put an offer on a house in Blooming Grove - hopefully that will pan out. Our second choice was in Monroe.
I will definitely keep you in mind if I have any questions!
