starting on cereals..
what is the exact reason why drs dont recommend until 6 months?

Another study came out recently that contradicted that one. It said the later you start solids, the more likely allergies are to occur. So all these "studies" are useless IMO. Who knows why some peds say wait and others say its ok to start earlier. They change these rules every 5 minutes it seems.

I completely agree. Dr. Sears & sons were on Dr. Phil recently and they were saying that starting on rice cereal contributes to obesity. They suggest starting on fruits or veggies first. I think I'll go by what my ped. recommends.
