I tried to get a seasonal job there last year and they wanted to pay me $8 an hour. Thanks but no thanks! I'm not giving up my weekend for $100.

not sure, but part time is only $8 (did it 2 years ago). This was for seasonal.

Honestly it is not a lot at all.
Even full time it's only like $10-$12 an hour.

Don't know if you'd be interested... but I work at Ann Taylor Loft and get paid $10/hr.

I worked in the Herald Square Macy's (not sure if it matters) like ten years ago - seasonal and pay differed I think depending on department because some made commission - again - I think...this is a long time ago, but even back then I made at least $8 per hour

Well my dh went for an interview today. He was told $8/hr.
He said thank you but no thank you.
He left there and walked through the mall and found a store that was looking for help and was hired on the spot-
He can still keep his current job (he needed to find something else as he is getting less hours as it gets colder out) and work fulltime here. The pay was more than Macy's and just enough for a 2nd job.

Actually it didn't-lol!! The store over-hired and he "lost" that job. He has been looking since then and he is starting a new job tomorrow, doing the same type of work but hopefully it will be fulltime as it varies from day to day but they said they are very busy right now.
