starting salary for entry level accountant?
Does anyone have an idea? My little brother's graduating soon - he's going for his Master's for his CPA.... but he is having a hard time trying to gauge what to expect salary wise. He's interning at an excellent, well known company in NYC and they're offering him a position....
Any idea?

Entry Level Accounting at a Big Consulting Firm (Big 4) can start at about 55-60Kish. Not sure if this has been affected by the sluggish economy.
At a small firm, I'm thinking 40kish, maybe. Perhaps slightly higher.

I agree with this. If it's a "well known" firm and not considered big 4 I'd say probaly about 50 or so.
