starting to have an additude..?

My son is almost 1 and for the past week he's been yelling more and wont let me change his diaper...I have to pin him down and distract him. Last night he started hitting my face and I kept saying NO..NO! Is this normal at this age? any suggestions..

my DD did the same kinda thing when she was around that age.... what worked for me was making it kind of fun when i changed her... i would try to sing a silly song while i did it to get her attention off the diaper changing... or make it into a game somehow... i hope he stops doing it to you, i remember how frustrating it was for me
