starting to pack my hospital bag and...
they told me at the childbirth class to being a really good lip balm for during labor. Does anyone have any recommendations? I've been using plain old Blistex lip balm. The instructor said we should splurge on a really good one. I was thinking about trying Kiehl's. Does anyone recommend anything else?
Thanks!

I swear by Blistez Lip Medex! It comes in a small blue container.

Kiehls is great. Rosebud Lip Salve is great (they sell it at Sephora). I also love good old Aquaphor. It has a million uses but really helps with dry/chapped lips.

ditto this
But I will say that no matter what the type/brand, definitely bring something for your lips.. they really do get chapped badly and soo dry during the labor process

Carmex is the best when it comes to really dry lips.

I am a chap-stick-oholic - Chapstick and anything you can think of - blistex, carmax----I literally go through a tube a week. It's bad, I don't even wear lipstick anymore! - BUT I think that the best is the Chapstick that comes in the blue tube. That and the one that comes in the white tube and it says natural on it....

Huh? We needed lip balm to give birth? I had no idea!
I like Burt's Bees but delivered "au naturale"
