Steak lovers question?? Should we go to Tellers or Peter Lugers?
We already have reservations at Peter Lugers, but just wondering if I should switch it to Tellers. We are going to the Peter Lugers in Nassau. I know both are expensive, but it is for my birthday. I'm just wondering which has better food.

i went to peter lugers once and wasn't a fan. tellers is pretty good.
is it only between those two?
my favorites are rothmans and prime

I don't eat steak, so I shouldn't even be answering, but I like the atmosphere of Peter Luger's plus their famous steak sauce is so good!

I do not like Teller's very much at all.
Been to both, been to Lugers many times. Although Tellers may be a bit more attractive or romantic inside, the food at Lugers just blows Tellers away. Lugers if you want top notch food!

went to Tellers recently for a wine diner and the food was mediocre at best

My friend who eats out alot was telling me to go to Tellers. Uhh! Can't make up my mind. I have a reservation at both. Seems like Peter Lugers is winning. I would choose another place, but DH is ready to kill me at this point. HAHA

I have been to Tellers a few times and it's always been very good.
I have heard that the Great Neck Lugers is not really worth it. I have been told only to go to Brooklyn. I haven't been to either, but honestly, my favorite Long Island steak house is Tellers.

Try Bryant and Cooper in Great Neck! I think it is better than Luger's.

I'm going to an event at Teller's this weekend. I've never been there.
I'm not a Peter Luger fan, but I love Morton's right down the road from there.

Lugers is better than Tellers, but I think it's a bit overrated. Plus, they tend to rush you a bit at Lugers so you won't really have a relaxing dining experience. I would much prefer Bryant & Cooper over both of them.

Teller's is one of my favorite restaurants. I love the atmosphere, I love the bar and their steak and seafood are very good.
